Each of our Shipstips
Cruise Ship pages (links on the left of any of our
pages) generally has 1000's of mostly cruise vacation photos per ship
instead of the manicured images provided by cruise lines & cruise agencies,
though there are some very photographically talented cruisers represented.
Many of these cruise photos are in Photoclub Albums, though there are
a large number of Personal Cruise Websites represented, as well.
In addition, each of our Shipstips Cruise Ship pages has 100's of
Cruise Reviews per ship, and include cruise message board review
or information posts of the specific cruise ship.
For each of our Shipstips Cruise Ship pages there is a link to the Cruise
Line Specific Message Boards & a link to the Cruise Line Specific
Reviews of that cruise ship. And for many of our Shipstips Cruise
Ship pages there is a link to the Cruise Line Specific (or Cruise Ship
Specific) ROLL CALL Message Boards, so you can get to know your
fellow cruisers, & gather information for your upcoming cruise.
Most of our individual Shipstips Cruise Ship pages have Menus,
Cruise Cams, Daily Programs (Capers, Compass, Patters, Celebrity
Daily, Freestyle Daily, Personal Navigator, Passages, etc), Cabin Photos,
Monthly Port Schedule, Deck Plans, 360 Virtual Tour,
Ratings, Ship Statistics, Itinerary, CDC Sanitation
Scores, & more.
Some of our individual Shipstips Cruise Ship pages have Bar Menus, &
or Wine Lists.
Most of the
information is from the cruisers themselves, rather
from a cruise agency. In addition, we do have some links to the Cruise
Line pages for the specific cruise ship. We have both Interior
Cruise Ship Photos, & Exterior Cruise Ship Photos.
This website represents a significant amount of ongoing work, especially in
adding new cruise links, & attempting to remove those which are no longer
valid. We appreciate any help we can get from the cruisers.

We have many images on our website, which are text images (have text in them
which is not normally readable by
computer software. Some examples of these text images are cruise ship
menus, the cruise daily programs, cruise ship bar lists, cruise ship wine
lists, and other handouts from the cruise. Some may have difficulty
reading this text as it may be too small on the screen. In most cases,
the image can be enlarged to it's full size (see below), and you will
usually be able to easily read the text.
Note, many of the webshots images have a View Full Size link at the
bottom of them, which will make the image much larger. However, for
viewing text, due to Internet Explorer 6 shrinking the image to the
screen size, we advise you either try clicking the image & when the expander
icon comes up at the bottom right of the image, click it, OR set your
Internet Options (in Tools pulldown), Advanced, Multimedia, Enable Automatic
Image Resizing to unchecked, which may give you a larger image on these
vertically long images, which will make the text larger (XP).
Note the above Internet Explorer 6 advice holds true for all images on the
internet, whether they are photos or other types of images such as cruise
ship menus, cruise ship daily programs, cruise ship bar lists, cruise ship wine
lists, or other text related images. Insuring you see the images of the
cruise, and cruise ship photos at their largest size generally does not matter
so much unless you are looking for fine details in the photo, but all types of
cruise ship text related images may need to be at their largest size to see
the text.
Computer software can read text in images, but only with OCR (Optical
Character Recognition) software, which is generally seldom used in normal
practice.
