We did not manage to get the first night. These
menus are from
the second night on.
We also added the dining hours for each day below the
menus. All the soups were particularly good. We found all the dinners to be quite
good, as we
were expecting our waiter, Gary, to provide us with the details regarding the
best
choices and what we should avoid. He did a fairly good job in doing so,
though he
needed a bit of encouragement sometimes, as he felt he did not wish to
contradict
our inclinations. We insisted, and tried not to let him know what we
wanted until he
had told us the scoop. Also, we would like to mention that we can
assure you two or more entrees can be ordered.

We voted for our Galaxy Wait Staff: Gary Black, Waiter, Carina Starkl,
Assistant Waiter. We added Vasille Huiban, Assistant Maitre'D, & Kristina
Burrec, Sommelier because the four were the best overall Wait Staff we've had
in 18 cruises.

I apologize for this last night's menu. It's exceptionally blurry. If

had the Grilled Churrasco Steak, Rare with Garlic sauce (a thin, Mexican style
steak).
We know someone who normally occasionally needs Imodium
whether on land or sea. They did not find any in the shops onboard (naturally),
and decided to walk down to the ships Medical Center and ask for some. They were
told they could have a free appointment, and they innocently took it. After the
examination, the doctor said they were fine, however (and this is a big
however), the doctor apologized, but was required to quarantine them for 3 days
from the dinning room, buffet, and bars. Their partner was quarantined for 1 day
from the same places. This protects the rest of us, but some people might find
this revelation useful. Be sure to bring your medications with you.
Two or More Entrees Can be Ordered - Various Posts on
this Subject
The belief that a second entree can not be ordered on Celebrity apparently
came from a review written by Anne Campbell on the Cruisemates Reviews page
regarding the 3 sister ships, Century, Galaxy, and Mercury (the review has been
changed but the exact wording continues to show up on various cruise agents
websites...they must have copied that portion of the review). In any case,
you can order two or more entrees.
