Galaxy Embarkation photos below.  Our SpringHill Suites hotel Shuttle (van) departed for the Passenger Terminal at 10am, a bit early.  We arrived at the baggage drop off gate (about 10:15am).  The baggage drop-off was in an area right next to the Galaxy, though to get there, one must drive (or walk) six or seven blocks, much too far to carry luggage if any problems arise.  The baggage drop off gate people told us baggage would not be accepted for at least 1 and 1/2 hours (approx 11:45am to 12 noon), so our Shuttle driver dropped us off at the Waterfront Park next to the Passenger Terminal, & kept our luggage on the Shuttle.  We watched passengers arrive at the Passenger Terminal only a few minutes later (about 11am), so luggage was being collected at that time.  Everyone was in an unusually good mood, even with these problems.  Our Shuttle driver picked us up at the Waterfront Park at about 12:15pm. then we dropped off our luggage, and switched into a different van to be taken to the Passenger Terminal.  We took an inordinately long time to reach the door, as we were in a very slow moving single line of vehicles.  If you arrive early, or later, you may not have this problem.  Once inside we moved fairly quickly.  We gave the clerk our documents and our credit card info.  He gave us our Celebrity Cruises Signature Card with our Captains Club sticker on it.  The Signature Card is used as a door key, a credit card for onboard purchases, and a pass card to get off and on the Galaxy.  As we were boarding, we moved to a toe line, placed our Signature Card in a slot, and a digital photo was taken, which associated us with our Signature Card.  In all, I was asked to complete three different embarkation forms, which contained the same information, but only one of the forms was ultimately collected.  The 3 forms were, the Celebrity website form, the form mailed with the Celebrity cruise documents (the one they collected), and the form the Shuttle driver was asked to give us.

For the first image, due to Internet Explorer 6 shrinking the image to the screen size, we advise you either try clicking the image & when the expander icon comes up at the bottom right of the image, click it, OR set your Internet Options (in Tools pulldown), Advanced, Multimedia, Enable Automatic Image Resizing to unchecked, which may give you a larger image on these vertically long images,  which will make the text larger (XP).
